Advanced User Interfaces

This course helps students to face the challenge of how to design and evaluate application interfaces and interaction modes, and provides some methodological and technological know-how needed to master the complexity of innovative technologies and to develop innovative solutions. The course also stimulates a thinking “out of the box” attitude and the attention to user needs and requirements, which are crucial to exploit the full potential of novel interactive technologies and to address the related challenges.

Hypermedia Applications

This course aims at providing students with the methodological and technical knowledge and skills needed to develop, in a systematic and efficient way, high quality web-based multi-device hypermedia applications (for desktop computer, tablet, or smart phone).

Interaction Design

Teaching proposes two educational objectives: an understanding of the systemic impact of technology and digital platforms in the conception and fruition of products and services; an introduction to methods and instruments for analysing man-machine interaction and planning user experience for digital communication artefacts.
